Meaning/function

Automatic shutdown (ABR = auto bolt release)

The automatic shutdown (ABR) is a function for releasing bolts or nuts: The power tool automatically shuts down as soon as the bolt or nut is released.
The automatic shutdown (ABR) prevents:

  • The bolt from falling down when released from the material
  • The nut from falling down when released from the screw thread

This working mode only works if the power tool is set to anticlockwise and the bolt or nut is still securely bolted.
If bolts or nuts have already been released, the automatic shutdown (ABR) is not active.
